Fields of Activity
The handling activity is carried out across multiple sectors, including logistics and storage platforms, warehouses, freight areas, railway, road or airport stations, production plants, retail companies, industries, construction, commerce, distribution, and event services. The technician works in contact with various personnel such as production operators, logistics operators, and forklift drivers.
This activity can take place during shift work, weekends, holidays, or night hours.
Main Mission
The handling technician performs manual operations involving goods, products, objects, or materials (loading/unloading vehicles, sorting, cleaning, etc.) following safety regulations.
The technician also carries out basic operations (physical inventory, packaging, etc.) using handling equipment or tools (lift tables, hand trucks, rolls, hoists, straps, etc.) that do not require a driving license or special authorization.
Basic Skills
The role involves repetitive lifting of loads (over 20 kg) and may take place in noisy environments, cold storage areas, or high-temperature zones (e.g., metal casting).
Good physical condition is essential. The technician must comply with hygiene and safety rules as well as recommended ergonomic practices.
The use of personal protective equipment (helmet, safety shoes, gloves, etc.) is mandatory.
